Donegal duo help Amsterdam to win European GAA final

Two Donegal players were part of the Amsterdam GAA side the became European GAA champions today.

Michael Sweeney of Red Hughs and Gaeil Fhánada clubman Hugh Friel were part of the Amsterdam team.

They overcame Eindhoven 1-15 to 0-3 in the European GAA Championship final.

They will now travel to Dublin to compete in the Leinster Junior Championship next month.
