Donegal Boston progress to semi-finals following emphatic win over Christopher’s

DONEGAL BOSTON turned on the style to overcome Christopher’s in the quarter-finals of the North-East Men’s Senior Football Championship this afternoon.

An emphatic 0-17 to 1-5 win sees the side through to the last four next weekend.

There was a healthy Donegal sprinkling involved: Michael Boyle (Termon); Jason Noctor (Killybegs), Conor Burke (St Gall’s, Belfast); Tony McClenaghan (Moville), Matthew Smyth (Killybegs, 0-1), Darren Green (Downings), Rory Kavanagh (St Eunan’s, 0-1) Brian Donnelly (0-1); Paddy McAleer (All Saints, Ballymena), Emlyn Mulligan (Melvin Gaels/ St Bridgid’s Dublin, 0-5) Gavin Gallagher (Sean MacCumhaill’s); Jason Whelan (Ballymun Kickhams, 0-7), Lorcan Connor (pictured above, Downings, 0-1). Subs: Mark Canny (Carndonagh), Sean Doherty (Urris), Malachy McDermott (Moville, 0-1) Rory Dunleavy (Sean MacCumhaill’s), Eunan Doherty (Naomh Conaill), and Ephrim McFadden (Gaeil Fhánada).
