THE DRAW HAS been made for home advantage in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland promotion-relegation play-off.

Should Finn Harps get through the First Division play-off against UCD – the second leg of which is at Finn Park on Friday night – they will be AWAY to either Drogheda United or Limerick FC on Monday night next, November 2nd.

League officials conducted the draw this morning and Harps will now be anxious for bumper home attendances on the next two Friday nights.

Harps hold a slender 1-0 lead against UCD from the first leg of the First Division play-off on Friday, thanks to Ciaran Coll’s goal.

If Ollie Horgan’s men can hold onto their lot, then they’ll travel to Drogheda or Limerick on Monday in the first leg of the promotion-relegation play-off and a home leg at Finn Park will follow on Friday-week, November 6th.

Drogheda currently occupy the play-off spot.

They are two points ahead of basement side Limerick heading into the final series of games on Friday night when Drogheda are away to Shamrock Rovers and Limerick are away to Sligo Rovers.
