THE RACE FOR the play-offs in League Two will go right down to the wire with Dale Gorman’s Stevenage clinging on by their fingertips.

Letterkenny native Gorman played this afternoon as his side went down to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Mansfield Town with Danny Rose scoring the only goal a minutes before half-time.

The result means that Stevenage’s 1-1 draw against Carlisle United last weekend is their inly point from four outings.

However, they remain in seventh place – still in the play-offs, with two games to play.

Things are incredibly tight with Stevenage just five points in front of 14th placed Grimsby Town.
