Dale Gorman and Stevenage lose out to Stoke City in EFL Cup

DALE GORMAN PLAYED against Premier League Stoke City tonight in the EFL Cup.

The Letterkenny native and his side, though, went down 4-0 at home to the team managed by Mark Hughes.

Peter Crouch bagged a hat-trick, while Phil Bardsley was the other Stoke goalscorer. Shay Given kept goal for Stoke.

Gorman was taken off injured with five minutes to play.
