Cranford AC notes – Duo do club proud in the Juvenile Track and Field Championships

Cranford AC had two competitors inĀ TullamoreĀ  last weekend to compete in the Juvenile Track and Field Championships.

First up was Aoife Giles in the girls’ under-12 shot putt. Aoife got into the last eight and was laying in third placeĀ  for most of the competition and with her last throw, of 9.12 metres,

she took a well deserved gold.
Next up was Kevin Logue who ran in the under-17 3,000m and with a good run came in at 14th place.
Thanks to coaches Eamon Giles, Ernie McElhinney, Joe Boyce, Rose Gavaghan and Bridie Trearty.
