Jason Quigley will have some important figures at ringside for his NABF title fight against Glen Tapia – including Consulate General of Ireland to Western United States.

Consulate Generale Philip Grant, based in San Francisco, has confirmed his attendance for Quigley’s bout with Tapia at Fantasy Springs, Indio, on March 23.

The Dubliner has been a diplomat with the Irish Foreign Ministry since 1992.

Prior to his appointment as Consul General in 2013, he was Spokesperson and Director for Press and Media Relations in the Foreign Ministry for four years.

He worked on the visits of Queen Elizabeth and President Obama to Ireland, the Global Irish Economic Forum and Ireland’s EU Presidency.
