Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta schedules pushed back by 12 months

THE 2020 Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta competitions have been shelved, it has been confirmed with the various hosting schedules pushed back by 12 months.

The Donegal finals of the competition traditionally take place on the May Bank Holiday weekend with the national finals on the June Bank Holiday.

Due to the Covid-19 shutdown, the 2020 versions will not be played.

However, the venues which had been scheduled for this year will now host next year’s competitions.

The Donegal Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta finals will now be hosted by Gaeil Fhánada in 2021, with the national finals being played at Galway club Naomh Anna in Leitir Móir.

Naomh Muire will host the national finals in 2022 at The Banks.
