THE CLOSING DATE FOR entries for the 2015 An Grianán Hotel Harvest Stages Rally, based in Burt, is this Friday, September 25.

The Clerk of the Course, Leonard Wilson, has appealed for crews to get their entries filed for an event that will act as Round 6 of the 2015 Sligo Pallets Border Championship, and DMC’s own Donegal Commercials Club Championship.

The An Grianán Hotel Harvest Stages Rally takes place on Saturday, October 10.

“The Donegal Motor Club has a very good value for money event with an entry fee of €495 for main competitors,” Mr Wilson said.

“This entry fee includes personal accident insurance and IRDS insurance at standard rate.

“For the junior classes, class 16, and the historic classes we will be charging a reduced entry Fee of €300.

“The overall rally will take place over nine special stages, with the Junior and Historic classes each competing over just six of those nine stages, during the day.

“The main committee for the event has been working hard to get all the final preparations in place.

“I am especially indebted to the residents along the route for their co-operation and assistance with planning of this Harvest Rally.

“The Donegal Motor Club will be meeting in the An Grianán Hotel on Monday 5th October, where final details of the Harvest Rally will be discussed.”

Regulations and Entry forms and up to date information is currently available on the Donegal Motor Club website, wwwdonegalmotorclub.com/downloads.php
