CIARA Grant was on target again yesterday evening as Shelbourne defeated DLR Waves in the Women’s National League.
The Letterkenny woman, a former Republic of Ireland international, netted last weekend on her debut for the Reds.
Having got on target on the opening day, in a win over Peamount, the midfielder picked up where she left off as Shels earned a narrow win.
Grant lobbed Eve Badana to break the deadlock, only for Niamh Prior to level.
Deep into injury time, Pearl Slattery – the Shelbourne captain – bagged a priceless winner.
