Bundoran still have ambitions of toppling Termon in Division 2

WITH Termon the current front-runners in the Centra Supermarkets All-County Football League Division Two, Bundoran have a chance to narrow the gap on Saturday evening.

The Seasiders (pictured above) are involved in the only fixture of the day, at Killybegs, knowing an away win at Fintra will take them to within a point of Paddy McDaid’s league leaders on level games played.

As for Termon, they might feel the pinch of their U-21A Championship fixture at Cloughaneely on Friday evening, when Brian McDaid and Johnny McCafferty’s team won in somewhat bizarre circumstances. On Sunday, they make the long trek to Naomh Columba, with the local support bound to be encouraged by their own under-21 team this week, who played out a dramatic contest against Kilcar on Tuesday.

Last year’s Allsport Intermediate Football Championship winners Cloughaneely are handily placed in third and visit a Sean MacCumhaill’s side who are second from bottom in the table.

The Ballybofey side are ahead only of Glenfin, who are St Naul’s visitors on Sunday, while Naomh Muire welcome Gaeil Fhánada.
