Bundoran notes – Under-21s advance in Championship

THE Under-21s (above) had a great first round Championship win against Burt on Sunday last.They now progress to play Glenfin in the next round.

Seniors and Reserves 
Both teams finally get back to action this weekend when they travel to Killybegs to take on the home sides with the Reserves throwing in at 6pm and the Seniors at 7.30pm. The second round matches in the Intermediate Championship are down for the following weekend with Naomh Brid the visitors.

Bunotto
There was no Jackpot winner this week. The winning numbers were 1, 5 , 8 , 13 , 16.

The three €50 winners were Daniel McKenna, Keady, Co Armagh; Shane Coughlin, Ardfarna, Bundoran; Peadar Salmon, Portlaoise, Co Laois We thank everyone for their continued support of our Bunotto each week.

Underage
Under-6 and under-8 Training continues on Saturday at 11am. The under-10s travel to Donegal Town for a Blitz leaving at 9.30 from  Gaelic Park.

There is also under-8 training on Wednesday at 7pm. The under-14s are currently playing in the Bakery Cup Competition unfortunately it has been hampered due to the adverse weather conditions. Training continues on Thursdays at 4.30pm.

The under-16s played Grange in a challenge on Monday evening. The minors training is on Wednesdays at 4pm with the county semi-final taking place later in the month.

Ladies 
The girls U16s lost out to neighbours Aodh Ruadh last Monday night . Training continues on Mondays at 7pm and Fridays at 12 noon.

Congrats
Congratulations to former senior players Nicky Corr and Declan Rafferty who both got married recently.

Club Fundraiser 
A Rodeo night / Barbecue fundraiser will take place in the Birds Nest on Sunday August 16th with the proceeds going to the GAA and the Childcare Centre.
