A VERYÂ enjoyable Under-8 Blitz was held in Gaelic Park on Saturday morning with Aodh Ruadh, Naomh Brid and Realt na Mara taking part. Some great football was produced by those taking part.
Well done to Sean Gilbride and all the other parents for organising a great days football and fun for all the children. Special mention to all the mums for supplying the refreshments and refs Joey McNulty and Christy Keaney. Thanks also to Pat Walsh for all his help.
There is finals days for both under-8 and under-10 teams next weekend with full details available from Sean and David.
There was no Jackpot winner this week. The winning numbers were 2 , 7 , 15 ,18 , 19. The three €50 winners were: Ethan Daly, Bundoran; L. Kelly, Castlederg; Emmet Daly, Dungannon.
Well done to all the under-14 lads who took part in the Bakery Cup finals on Wednesday last with Adam McGlone, Shane Carty Fenlon and Jack Hourihane all on the winning team. Once again can we express our thanks to the Aodh Ruadh club for facilitating us in letting our U14s play in the competition.
Training continues for the U16s and minors with the minors playing the northern Division winners Milford next week in the co semi final.
Training for the girls under-16s continues on Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm.
The senior and reserve teams had excellent wins over Naomh Brid in the Intermediate Championship last weekend.They now face Burt in the final round of games on Sunday with the reserves throwing in at 1.30pm and seniors at 3pm.
