Buncrana hit three second-half goals to power away from Moville

BUNCRANA HIT three second-half goals to see off Inishowen rivals Moville and book a spot in the Junior Championship semi-finals.

Buncrana 3-13, Moville 0-11

John Campbell, JP McKenna and Darach O’Connor found the net as Malachy McCann’s men won by 11 points.

Buncrana were only a point in front, 0-7 to 0-6, at half-time.

Campbell hammered past Ryan Coyle after being fed by Caolan McGonagle early in the second half.

Ciaran Diver and Danny Murphy hit points for Moville, but Peter McLaughlin’s superb score put seven points between them.

Ten minutes from the end, McKenna batted in after McGonagle and Campbell combined.

Late in the game, O’Connor slotted in a penalty to give the Junior Championship favourites a comfortable victory.
