Buncrana Hearts appeal as people disturb pitch relaying works

A DONEGAL soccer club has appealed for people to desist from going onto their pitch which is in the process of being relayed.

Inishowen League club Buncrana Hearts are relaying the top pitch at Castle Park.

A programme of works has got underway in recent weeks to relay a new surface.

Last week, the club appealed for people to keep off the pitch while these works are taking place.

However, the club has been forced to issue a fresh appeal.

They said: “Images captured this morning clearly show that our appeal has clearly fell on the deaf ears of certain individuals.

“We would once again appeal to those individuals to please desist from this behaviour immediately.”
