The mini-league resumed last weekend and with the more familiar format of betterball the pairings had an opportunity to make up some ground on the qualifying table.
The best score of the weekend was 43 pts recorded by the big-hitting Oliver Doherty and the ever consistent Mickey Mc Cann. Oliver and Mickey are a strong pairing and are strongly fancied to take the mini-league title this year.
The mini-league will continue over the next 3 weekends and for any pairing who didn’t get a chance to enter the mini-league there are still plenty of opportunities to return three scores for the qualifying stages.
The format this weekend Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February will be a scramble and a great opportunity for the pairings to post a high score.
Find the Joker Fundraising
The “Find the Joker” is up and running again with a Jackpot of €1,100.00, lines only cost €2 each and this draw is open to members and non-members alike. Lines can be purchased in the clubhouse or through chief seller Oliver Doherty.
Membership Deals
There are great membership deals available at present i.e. golf until March 1st 2020 – Men €333.00, Ladies €232, complete beginners male €260.00 and Lady €190.00 all rates inclusive of G.U.I. & Insurance fees. The male membership fees will increase by €17.00 after the 17th March 2019. Anyone paid in full on or before the 17th March will be exempt from this increase.
Captains Drive In
Mr. Brendan Murphy and Ms. Moya O’ Doherty will host their joint Captains Tee Off on Sunday 3rd March @ 2:00 p.m. sharp. The Captains Tee Off will be followed by a 9 hole teams of 4 mixed scramble with refreshments afterwards in the clubhouse and names are no being taken.
