Brett McGinty to face a familiar Irish foe in Minsk

Brett McGinty faces a familiar Irish foe this afternoon at the Liventsev Memorial tournament in Belarus.

The Oakleaf ABC man goes up against Giorgi Kharabadze in a middleweight quarter-final in Minsk.

Kharabadze is a former European Junior gold and European Youth bronze medallist.

At this year’s European U22 Championships in Targu Jiu, Romania, Kharabadze overcame Galway’s Gabriel Dossen in a closely-fought quarter-final.
