BLAKE MCGARVEY scored 3-8 as Cloughaneely edged out Naomh Columba in the Under-16 Division 2 final in Glenties.

Cloughaneely 3-12 Naomh Columba 3-9

Cloughaneely hit 1-1 in the first three minites through McGarvey before Michael Callaghan started his own scoring spree with his opening point followed quickly by an Antoine Molloy goal.

Naomh Columba led by one at half-time thanks to Michael Callaghan (4) and Shaun Hardy with Cloghanelly keeping in touch with points from McGarvey (2), Steven Ferry and Dara Ferry.

The second half was tit-for-tat as, after a good ball from Dara Ferry, McGarvey struck home from close range.

The sides were level two minutes later as Antoine Molloy got his second goal of the game.

The game seemed to be going away from Naomh Columba when another goal from McGarvey and a free from Steven Ferry put the eventual victors four up with 10 minutes left.

In another twist to the game Naomh Columba leveled it up first a goal from play by Darragh Cunningham and a Michael Callaghan free.

However, three points by McGarvey steered Cloughaeely to victory,
