St Eunan’s College U19 basketball team have reached the All-Ireland Final.

The team faced OLSPK at Coleraine University in Derry and came out victors on a scoreline of 74 points to 48 points.

The Letterkenny school, managed by Emmanuel Payton and Monica Gribben, got off to a flying start with Max Ledley and Luke Cassidy scoring at well to help their side rush into a 26-9 lead after the first quarter.

Killian Gribben, using his stature under the boards, scored another ten in the second period to make it 41-22 at half-time being assisted by James O’Donnell and Raumel Soler.

St Eunans hit a flat spot and were outscored by six points after some great shooting by OLSPK to make it 56-43 going into the last quarter

However, in the final quarter Thomas Reynolds picked up the pace hitting 10 points with good hustle blocking and trapping.

The St.Eunans men won comfortably in the end.
