LYIT have made it two wins in a row to get their league off to a flying start.
The Letterkenny college team led from the start and maintained that lead all the way to the final buzzer against fancied Fr Matthews.
Before this game the Cork side had won three from three starts.
But some new faces including Andrew McGeever, Emmanuel Payton and Dom Uhl have LYIT looking like hot property.
They eventually squeezed out Fr Matthews on a scoreline of 95 to 76 before a decent crowd at An Danlann.
