MAXI CURRAN’S St Eunan’s side put the disappointment of last weekend’s heavy defeat to Naomh Conaill behind them to beat Dungloe and progress to the last eight of the RTE Raidio na Gaeltachta SFC.

The Letterkenny side overcome the team managed by Tony Boyle on a 0-14 to 1-6 scoreline at O’Donnell Park. The result means that St Eunan’s finish Group 2 in second spot behind Naomh Conaill, which means they will face one of the other group winners in the quarter-finals – Glenswilly have sewn up Group 1 in top spot and St Michael’s and Kilcar are favourites to top Group 3 and Group 4 respectively.

“Credit to Dungloe they made life very difficult for us,” Curran (pictured above) said. “It took us a wee while to get going.”

Curran spoke with Alan Foley afterwards. Listen to the interview in full below …
