ST EUNAN’S CARETAKER manager Sean McVeigh dedicated yesterday’s win in the County Under-21 Hurling Championship to manager Paddy Flood.

McVeigh (pictured above) and Flood’s son Colm took charge of the 3-10 to 0-7 quarter-final win over Aodh Ruadh and the Letterkenny side will meet Buncrana in the last four. Paddy Flood had a back complaint and was forced to miss the match.

“Paddy will be delighted,” McVeigh said. “We had about five missed calls at half-time but he puts in some effort. He’s like a saint.”
