RORY KAVANAGH MISSED ST EUNAN’S group games against Naomh Conaill and Dungloe, but has returned to help fire the Cathedral town side into the county final again.

Kavanagh was in Boston as St Eunan’s lost heavily to Naomh Conaill in O’Donnell Park, but this Sunday the former Donegal man will aim to turn the tables.

Kavanagh has been in inspirational form since his return.

“I didn’t expect to be missing any football when I was away, but I ended up missing two games,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.

“We’ve been down the road often enough to know when to peak. Hopefully we’re building a head of steam at the right time.

“They’re too good footballing teams and two clubs with good underage structures. We’re unearthing good players and they’re coming through now. Naomh Conaill are the same.

“It’s set up for a very good game.”
