RICHARD EATON and Raphoe are pinching themselves heading into the Christmas break.

The Donegal side overcame Belfast Harlequins 3-1 at the Royal and Prior School Grounds yesterday to move into fourth place in the Premier League.

“If someone had told us that we’d be heading into Christmas with 13 points, we’d have paid thousands of pounds for it,” Eaton, the Raphoe manager, told Donegal Sport Hub.

Coach Rodney Bates and his squad have had quite the end to 2015 and it was capped by a deserved win that saw two goals from Ben Wallace and another from Luke Witherow seal a come-from-behind victory.

Eaton said: “We worked hard for the three points. We got on top and fitness told. We upped the ante in the second half and we played very well.”
