Audio: Raphoe ladies coach Richard Tinney on promising start to Senior 1 season

RICHARD TINNEY hopes that his Raphoe Ladies 1^st XI can keep up their momentum after a promising start to the new season.

In their first handful of games in Senior 1, Raphoe are unbeaten.

On Saturday, goals from Sarah Patterson, Kirsty McKinney, Kimberley Porter (2), Sabrina Barnett and Leanne Patterson secured a 6-0 win over Victorians at the Royal and Prior School Grounds.

“The girls worked hard – overall we have worked on our fitness and that’s showed,” Tinney told Donegal Sport Hub.

“We’re taking it one step at a time. Hopefully we can keep it up.

“We have a good squad. It’s not a team thing anymore – it’s about the squad.”
