FERMANAGH MANAGER PETE MCGRATH was pleased with his lot after the Erne Under-21s overcame Donegal in the North-West Under-21 Cup in Ballyshannon.

Owen McManus and Sean Keenan netted the second-half goals as Fermanagh emerged with the win.

“It was a very useful game,” McGrath told Donegal Sport Hub.

“This comeptition is to give lads a competitive edge. We’ve looked at a lot of players.

“To win a game against Donegal is a good thing for the players. I was pleased with the effort, but both teams made a lot of errors.”
