PCC FALCARRAGH MANAGER Stephen Doohan was philosophical following his side’s loss to Magh Ene in the Donegal Schools’ Senior A Championship yesterday.

Doohan’s team went down 1-13 to 1-11 against the Bundoran side in Convoy in the last eight – a disappointing conclussion for the Falcarragh outfit, who won the Ulster Under-16 title – the Arthurs Cup – in 2014.

“Unfortunately it didn’t work out,” he said. “Magh Ene played better against the wind. We showed tremendous spirit, drive and determination. That’s the way it goes.”
