PAURIC O’DONNELL could only watch on as his Abbey Vocational School side lost out in the semi-final of the Donegal Senior Schools Football Championship this afternoon.
The Donegal town based team lost 3-10 to 0-12 against St Columba’s Comprehensive Glenties at Pairc na Gael in Letterkenny, but at least have the consolation of the provincial championship to look forward to.
“That’s the way it goes,” Naomh Columba O’Donnell said. “We’ll be looking forward to getting into Ulster and who knows, we might get another crack at Glenties. You never know what’s down the road.”
