THE 45th EDITION of the Donegal Senior Cross Country Championships takes place in Stranorlar tomorrow.
64 men and 32 women have entered an event that is always a highlight of the local athletics calendar and some hot competition is again expected tomorrow with a noon start for the races, 6k for the ladies and 10k for the men.
Finn Valley AC did the double last year and close battles are anticipated for the 2015 version.
“The Donegal senior was always the big event in cross country calendar where local clubs battle it out,” said Neil Martin of Finn Valley AC, winner of the men’s race in 1974.
