NIAMH HEGARTY says team spirit, togetherness and effort were the key ingredients as the Donegal Ladies won their first ever Ulster SFC title this summer.
The Moville woman was named as the 2015 Donegal Ladies Footballer of the Year on Friday night.
“Everyone was fighting for positions at training,” Hegarty told Donegal Sport Hub.

“Any one of 25 of his could get on. We kind of realised that if we didn’t win it now, we might never win it.
“We were focussed and we knew that we could win it. Everyone gave 100 per cent.”
