Audio: Jason Quigley says ‘more in the tank’ after his latest pro win

JASON QUIGLEY believes he still has ‘a lot more in the tank’ after recording the ninth win of his professional career in Las Vegas overnight.

The Ballybofey man overcame Marchristopher Adkins, claiming a unanimous decision after being taken the full distance for the first time as a pro.

Quigley sustained a cut above his left eye during the third round, but went on to take his record to 9-0 (8kos).

“It was another successful night at the office.” Quigley told Donega Sport Hub from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

“I was happy with my performance. I learned a lot in going the distance. It was good to get the experience of the distance.

“He was a tricky, durable guy. I wanted a step up in class myself and we took that step last night. I got in early, dictated the pace and got the job done.

“There is a lot more in me and a lot more in the tank, but that fight was a great learner.”

Quigley reflected on a superb year that has seen him win six bouts in America and looked forward to 2016, a year he anticipates will be a big on for Team Quigley.
