Last night at the Winter Wollie Warmer 5k in Letterkenny, Ciaran Doherty and his wife Terese (nee McGloin) took the respective honours in the men’s and women’s races.

“In the winter time I just try and cram in training when I can and get as much mileage as possible,” Ciaran said. “Next year then it will the nationals, masters and cross-countries”.
Teresa added: “I’ll try and get a few good sessions now and will look forward till February when I can plan races.”
