NEIL MARTIN HAS BEEN the Finn Valley AC Treasurer for 38 years now and has seen the annual schools athletics events go from strength-to-strength.
The Glenfin man was back at the Millbrae venue this week as the 2015 version took place.
On Tuesday, 808 pupils took part in the primary school event with 570 competing on Wednesday in the secondary school championships.
“Every year is a new challenge and a different challenge,” Martin told Donegal Sport Hub.
“It’s a recruitment process because the clubs are here watching it too. It’s always exciting. It’s the enthusiasm the kids bring to the sport.”
