Audio: Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan looks ahead to play-offs

OLLIE HORGAN WAS IN RELAXED form after overseeing Finn Harps’ final training session ahead of Friday night’s First Division play-off first leg against UCD at Belfield.

Bar what the Harps manager describes as ‘a couple of knocks and bruises’, he has close to a full panel from which to select his team.

Harps finished the First Division season in good form and are on an unbeaten sequence of seven matches as they head for the capital.

“This time last year we finished on a low ebb, losing 2-0 to Longford. This pressure is enjoyable,” Horgan told Donegal Sport Hub’s Charlie Collins after a video analysis session with his players.

“So long as we can do ourselves justice. Whatever happens after that happens.

“We have plenty of experience in there. We have prepared as well as we can.

“I’m hoping that we can play well and take this to the wire.

“We’d have taken this at the start of the season.

“We probably didn’t do enough midway through the season, but we finished strongly. It took us a while to turn the corner, but we have improved.”
