DONEGAL UNDER-21 manager Declan Bonner pulled no punches after today’s defeat to Fermanagh in Ballyshannon.
Donegal gifted the Erne side two second-half goals in the North-West Under-21 Cup and Fermanagh left with a 2-4 to 1-6 win.
“It was poor,” said Bonner, who was missing the bulk of his first choice players.
“We’re looking at these players in terms of squad numbers. These lads are looking at places in the squad, but very few would have stood out.
“Our decision making and leadership wasn’t good enough and the goals were very disappointing.
“I’m delighted that we were punished because these mistakes cannot happen down the line.”
