SEAN TOLLEY WAS BEAMING after his Clonmany Shamrocks dug deep to defeat the defending champions, Glengad United, on Sunday.

Mark McLaughlin’s goal at The Crua sees Clonmany head for the Christmas break nine points clear of QPS and ten ahead of Glengad, who do have three games in hand.

Goalscorer McLaughlin was red carded in the second half meaning Clonmany were tested to the maximum.

“We’re absolutely over the moon, especially since we had ten men,” Tolley told Donegal Sport Hub.

“It was a great performance by the whole team and I’m proud of every single one of them. They dug deep and they drummed out an unbelievable performance.”
