AN EXCELLENT SAVE by Ciaran Gallagher from UCD’s Jack Watson helped Finn Harps to victory at Belfield tonight.
Gallagher’s stop from Watson in the 88th minute helped Ollie Horgan’s side to a 1-0 win UCD in the SSE Airtricity League First Division play-off. Ciaran Coll’s goal after 24 seconds was the only goal of the game.
Harps, this night week, welcome UCD to Finn Park for the second leg.
“Thank God I was able to make that save,” Gallagher (pictured above) said. “If I can get another clean sheet now I will be delighted.”
