Audio: Birthday joy for Tarlach O’Boyle as Rovers reach last eight

TARLACH O’BOYLE CELEBRATES his 17^th birthday today – and marked it with a goal as Letterkenny Rovers reached the FAI Youth Cup quarter-final.

O’Boyle applied the finish for Rovers’ first goal in their 2-0 win over Ballinroad at the Aura Leisure Centre.

“It’s brilliant, a great feeling – you couldn’t ask for anything better for the birthday,” O’Boyle told Donegal Sport Hub.

A second from Zach Gorman in the 82^nd minute fired Rovers towards the last eight and rises hopes that they could keep the run going.

O’Boyle said: “It’s in the back of your head, but we’ll get the next game under our belt and see how it goes.”
