JOE MCLAUGHLIN ROWED in with the Ardara ladies in June and was disappointed to see their season conclude on Saturday.
McLaughlin assisted Steven Boyle, who is currently tunneling in England, and Ardara’s loss against Down champions St John Bosco concluded a whirlwind 16 weeks.
“I got involved after the All-Ireland Gaeltachta and today was our 51st session together,” McLaughlin said. “We’re in the senior championship next year and we have to go and give that a real good rattle now.”
