PAURIC O’DONNELL described himself as ‘happy enough’ with Abbey VS’s performance following yesterday’s 4-16 to 0-09 win over St Catherine’s VS in Mountcharles.
Daniel Brennan’s first-half goal had Abbey 1-10 to 0-4 in front at half time, but they almost let the advantage slip before second-half goals by Nathan Ward, Neil Ward and Jamie Crawford sealed their passage in the next round.
“We’re happy enough. It was our first day out and we didn’t really know what to expect,” Naomh Columba clubman O’Donnell told Donegal Sport Hub.
