‘Arrive early – and alcohol free’ – Finn Harps secretary appeals to fans

Finn Harps Secretary John Campbell has appealed for supporters to arrive early – and alcohol free – for Monday night’s play-off against Limerick.

Harps host Limerick in the first leg of the play-off final at Finn Park on Monday and can expect a bumper attendance in Ballybofey.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game, the Harps official asked supporters to buy tickets in the various outlets in Donegal and to come early – particularly those from south Donegal, to allow for delays at road works on the way.

“We’re hoping that the supporters come out and get behind us,” he said.

“We are appealing for supporters in the south of Donegal to leave a bit earlier and give extra time.

“Where humanly possible, we want supporters to buy tickets at the outlets and it’s easy to buy them locally, which will take the pressure off at the gate.

“We want to ask fans to refrain from taking alcohol into the ground. There will be stewards and Gardaí looking out for that on the night.”
