Raphoe 2nds sweep past Banbridge to reach Cup final

RAPHOE’S second XI booked their place in the Junior League 2 Cup final after a big win over Banbridge on Saturday.

Raphoe are now through to the final later this month, with three teams from the club set to grace finals day. The Raphoe 3rd XI and 4th XI will clash in a tasty Junior 6 final.

On Saturday, Raphoe led 2-0 at the break.

Tommy Orr opened the scoring from a switched short corner routine in his first game with the 2nds.

Zack West got the second after some good work down the left.

Orr got his second against run of play followed by a quick goal from Stephen Cleverly – who got a great touch on a ball played in by Rodney Bates.

West got his second late on with a quick break from the back with Tom Eaton and captain Adrian Crumley doing well on the right flank.
