Lifford Strabane AC juvenile member Ava Crawford was the first female student to cross the finish line at the St. Marys NS 5k run/walk in Castlefin which took place yesterday.
This race was well supported with over 140 runners/walkers taking to the start line. Ava was accompanied by her Dad adult club member Stephen Crawford to place 34th overall in a super time of 27:04, Stephen finished hot on Ava’s heels in a time of 27:05. Well done.
[adrotate group=”38″]The only other action that happened over the weekend from the Lifford-Strabane AC athletes was the witness of a few strange ‘dance moves’ that took place at the clubs ‘Christmas Social Night’ which was held in The Harp & Fiddle in Strabane on Saturday 3rd December.
