Martin Harley is on the double at Chelmsford

MARTIN HARLEY had another pair of winners at Chelmsford City yesterday.

The Trentagh jockey is back on form again and, after riding two winners at Lingfield on Saturday and one at Chelmsford on Thursday, he was back in the winners’ enclosure yesterday again.

Harley took victory in the 1.50pm race, the Toteplacepot Racing’s Favourite Bet Nursery Handicap aboard Booshbash, a 4/1 shot trained by Ed Dunlop.

Harley steered Booshbash home a length ahead of 16/1 How’s Lucky. Harley was held up in the rear on the Mohammed Jaber-owned mount, but chased the leaders a furlong from home.

Harley was soon in command to take the win.

Harley had a 4th, 12th and 5th placed finish before he was back in a winning saddle again,this time in the Toteexacta Forecast The 1st And 2nd Handicap on Barco Botti’s Velvet Revolution.

The 9/4 joint favoutite, Velvet Revolution romped home, winning by five lengths from Aldreth (3/1),

Held up in the midfield, Harley and Velvet Revolution moved into third and travelled with serious momentum before nudging clear and easing to a comfortable success.
