With the Irish winter having finally caught up with us and with common sense prevailing, Letterkenny Golf Club have reduced their course to 13 holes.
This is in order to allow members and visitors alike to avail of some form of competition during the winter months without having to use the mats.

With the persistent rain and ongoing work being done to four of the main fairways, Saturday’s competition was postponed but taking the top honour on Sunday 13th was Johnnie Moore [21] with 26pts over the shorter course. Turkey competitions are now running from Monday-Sunday, seven days weekly with re-entry any day following first entry.
[adrotate group=”53″]The social club’s 25 card night has resumed on Wednesday evenings, everyone welcome, as has the quiz night on Friday evening under the supervision of Donegal ‘mastermind’ Hugh Mc Clafferty.
Congratulations to long standing club member and former club secretary Dermot Rainey on his selection to the Letterkenny Business Hall of Fame at the award ceremony on Friday last.
Commiserations are extended to the family of former club Captain Derek Mc Mahon who held office in 1971 and who was buried on Wednesday morning with a guard of honor from the club.
