LAST WEEKEND saw the biggest event of the Butt Hall Tennis Club’s calendar year take place.

The Butt Hall Championships 2016 drew players from near and far. In total 100 players from clubs all over Donegal, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Derry, Sligo, Mayo and Dublin took part.

The weather was fantastic and so was the tennis on display. The BBQ was in full swing all weekend and the atmosphere and craic were brilliant.

Thanks to our sponsors: Joe Bonner, Abbey Glebe, Dental Practice Donegal town, Ready Steady Smiles Ballybofey, Anthony Boland’s Centra Ballybofey, Alan Reid Design and Print Ballybofey, Anthony Conaghan Car Dealers Ballybofey, Henry Kees Property Ballybofey, Acebook, Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Donegal Town, McConnells Butchers Ballybofey, Bus Eireann and Bonners Pharmacy Ballybofey.

Finally a huge thank you to any club member who offered their time to help get the courts and facilities ready and who helped in the running of the tournament all weekend. We can now look forward to our next tournament, The Donegal Open which will run in June 2017.
