FINN HARPS SUPPORTER Ciara Bermingham has been announced as a new office administrator with the club, as part of a Post Leaving Cert scheme.

The Ballybofey woman was confirmed in the position this afternoon by the club.

Initially, she will undertake an admin role, but will have the intention of furthering her knowledge of the running of and workings of a League of Ireland club.

“We want Ciara to learn the business,” said Harps Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell.

“There is a nationwide shortage of volunteers so part of our strategy here is to integrate young people.”

From a Harps-mad family, Ciara – who attended St Columba’s College in Stranorlar – has been attending Finn Park since birth. Her mother, Margaret Rose, hails from Navenny Street, in the shadows of Finn Park and her aunt, Ann Kelly, looks after the mascots on home match nights.

Campbell said: “We are delighted to welcome Ciara on board at the club.”
