Martin McHugh’s Kilcar turned on a super performance to hammer reigning Donegal SFC holders Naomh Conaill in the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Donegal SFC semi-final.
Kilcar saw Michael Hegarty, Conor Doherty, Patrick McBrearty score goals, while Eoin McHugh capped an excellent personal performance with two goals in a 5-10 to 0-11 win. It’s the first time Kilcar are in the final since 1993.
[adrotate group=”82″]“The lads are in good shape,” McHugh said afterwards. “Fair play to the lads for sticking with it. We’re just glad to get into the final from a club point of view.
“They didn’t panic. You take different things from different games. Fair play to the lads. All we are, though, is in the final.”
[adrotate group=”53″]McHugh’s team will play Glenswilly in the final in two weeks’ time.
