While in the other semi-final Ward overcame Andrew Gillespie 5-2. Gillespie took the first leg but never got going to cause Ward any problems. In the first round Menchia beat Raymond Hegarty who was a late replacement for Michael Curran who could not make it due to work commitments 4-0.

Menchia had a 180, Andrew Gillespie beat Adrian Byrne 4-2, John Ward beat Declan Quinn in a brilliant match where Ward had a 118 finish and 148 to win with Qiunn on a double. Gallagher put in a great game of darts to beat John Con McGinley 4-2.

Thanks to the many players who entered over the eight weeks where we seen so many great games of darts and to all who marked games and helped out in any way.
