BY NOW, the clip of the Brownlee brothers, Johnny and Alistair, has become an internet sensation; as Alastair helps his sibling over the finish line of the Triathlon World Series in Mexico.

The exhausted Jonny was all-but carried over the final 700m by his older brother Alistair in the searing heat at Mexico.

Alistair pushed his brother over the line in second place, the duo having been overtaken by South Africa’s Henri Schoeman, who won the event.

Last November, Alistair Brownlee was in Donegal, as he was the guest start at the Sport 4 Life Conference, hosted by Finn Valley AC.

Brownlee is the Olympic, European and Commonwealth champion. Last month, he won triathlon gold at the Olympic Games in Rio.
